8 years addicted to speeding up websites

Slow website? I'll fix it.

We've hit 100% scores in almost every speed-testing tool out there. If you're serious about improving load times and results, you're in the right place. Speeding up slow WordPress sites is my addiction — and I refuse anything slower than one second.

The addiction philosophy

If it makes the site 50 milliseconds faster, I'll do it with full attention

“Speeding up WordPress sites is my addiction! If there's a 50-millisecond improvement to be had anywhere, I'll tell you about it and give it my full attention. Having run sites from hundreds to millions of visitors, I believe page speed matters for every website — especially businesses.”

A far better user experience (especially on mobile), lower server load, and more conversions and sales. These aren't theoretical numbers — they're documented results for every client I've worked with.

01

Remove code, don't add it

You can only lighten code by removing it. Installing yet another plugin to “lighten” code is a flawed idea — and it usually creates conflicts that break the site.

02

Optimise for users, not test scores

PageSpeed scores are just guidelines. Hacking a site into an A+ 100 can actually make it slower for real users — which defeats the point of the test entirely.

03

Caching comes last

Caching hides the problem, it doesn't solve it. I hand-optimise the code first, then add caching as a layer on top of a clean site — not on top of a mess.

04

The page should appear instantly

As if it already lived on the visitor's device. One second is too slow for me. Any perceptible “loading” time is too long.

Add-on service

Removing the bloated page builder

I remove heavy page builders (Elementor, Divi, WPBakery) from your most important page and rebuild its design with Gutenberg blocks or Oxygen. The result: the whole site gets faster, not just the rebuilt pages.

Single-page bundle

Page Builder Removal · 1 page

Usually the homepage — the heaviest and most visited. I recreate the design precisely with Gutenberg or Oxygen blocks, with custom CSS where needed.

3-page bundle

Page Builder Removal · 3 pages

For stores and multi-page sites: home + categories + products. Pick the heaviest or most-visited pages for the biggest difference.

FAQ

What speed clients ask about

Answers taken from real client messages.

Why is my website so slow?
Loading a page is like pushing a car uphill. You either add engine power (a better server) or reduce the car's weight (less code). Most sites suffer from both: slow servers and bloated code. The common — and wrong — fix is installing more plugins to “lighten” things, but you can only lighten code by removing it, not by adding more.
How long does the optimisation take?
Basic package: 2–4 days. Professional: 5–8 days. Premium: 10–14 days for complex sites. Consultation-only: a full report within 72 hours. Every package includes documented before/after reports with screenshots.
Do you work on very large sites (stores with thousands of products)?
Yes — that's the Premium package's speciality. We've worked on WooCommerce stores with thousands of products, WPML sites in 7 languages, and magazines with a million articles. For very large sites, we start with a 30-minute discovery call before quoting, because the scope varies a lot.
Do you need full access to my site?
Yes. We need: a WordPress admin account, FTP/SFTP access, and cPanel or hosting-panel access. For the Premium package we may need SSH root on the server. All credentials are stored encrypted in 1Password and automatically deleted 30 days after the project completes.
What if the optimisation breaks something on my site?
We take a full backup before starting. If anything breaks, we restore the original immediately and fix the issue before continuing. All changes go to a staging environment first (when the host supports one), then move to production once verified.
Does the speed last after delivery?
Yes, as long as you don't add heavy new plugins. We provide a written best-practices guide for keeping the speed. For ongoing protection, our monthly maintenance service includes speed monitoring with alerts if it regresses.
